Recent Projects Completed

Hello all, just wanted to share recently-ish completed projects. Forgive me if the post seems long.

The first is the hall table I finally finished in March. Fairly difficult for me but I think it turned out okay.

Next is a pine wall shelf. Paul Sellers design. Finished it in mid March.

Then I made the same shelf out of Hickory for my bathroom, a challenge to hand cut stopped dadoes and mortises. I now know why Hickory is a cheap wood.

Also this decorative wooden cross from scraps. Half lap and mortise. Cherry cross and Chestnut base.

This past weekend I completed this "Japanese Writer's Box" got the plans from a magazine.

Very nice looking pieces, Jacob. Your skills are definitely improving w/ each piece. Are you still doing this all by hand?

All the joinery is done by hand, but I do use the table saw jointer and planer. But joinery and shaping is hand work. It's taken some time but I do think I have improved. Thank you.
