Many thanks to NCWW, Jeremy, and Ed Lebetkin[donated the prize]
Was fortunate enough to win an old school Moving Fillister plane. Any advice how to loosen/Tighten the wedge and blade?
Again thank you.

Pete,
I wish I was closer, I would help get your plane tuned-up. (wish I would have won it - happy you got it!)

Have a look at this video to see if it helps.

While this is specifically on rabbit planes the techniques apply to all wood body planes (set-up starts at 10:15)

Hope that helps, if not keep posting questions!

Pete, Based on your question, is it safe to assume you don’t have a great deal of wedged wooden plane experience?

Jeeze, feeling a bit guilty , now thats funny
GOOD! (Just kidding) now learn how to set it up - there are a few neanders out your way that can help - watch some videos and make that thing crank out some shavings and we will be even!!!

Thanks Hank, again, I am an old wood hack, but even the simple things I do accomplish give me joy...and if nothing else, always admired the old handtools. I am reading and watching the videos, hopefully some shavings as you say.
