So, they are recalling propane gas because it poses a fire and burn hazard?

question of the day -
what does propane smell like?

NOTHING- it has no odor so a chemical (most notably methyl mercaptan) is added to it for consumer use (and butane, cng, etc as well) so we will know if we have a leak. Without the odorant in sufficient quantities you may not know your propane etc is leaking.
Scott thanks for sharing this. I'll pass it on to at work and to the other state rrt's. As of Wednesday if the state knew of this we hadn't been told.
