Problems with carnauba wax

I generally use an oil and wax process on boxes. I use the Beall Buffing System.
Lately I am noticing some problems with the finish, specifically, the wax seems to blemish.
It seems that I read somewhere recently about problems with carnauba wax showing white spots.
Can anyone elaborate ?

I've experienced water spotting with the hard carnauba wax I got when I got the beal system. I switched to Mother's Car (carnauba) wax and have had no more issues.

Paste, yes. I apply the wax to the object–bowl, vase, pen, etc.–let it surface dry (like waxing a car), and then buff it on the wheel

±1 on ditching the included carnuba wax that came with the system. Water will cause white spotting so it's no good for anything in the kitchen. I have been using beeswax.
