The nameplate data on the motor says 3 phase, so keep that in mind.

AFAIK all 3520's are a 3PH motor. the speed control converts single PH to 3 PH. I does operate on a single phase circuit. from what I read it is the best way to get full torque at low speeds.:icon_thum
