Posts below this point are new since your last visit

Is this working as it's supposed to? When I click the "go to first unread" button, it goes to the last post that I haven't read, just as expected. Sometimes the "Posts below this point are new since your last visit" marker appears several posts later. I realize why that is happening... I'm just not sure if it provides any useful information. It doesn't really mark the first unread post, just the first post since the last time you logged in.

I see your point -- all of the posts that are pulled in the New Post search are "new", so does it add anything? I find it useful in the full titles listing, but it has limited use when displayed within a thread.

As I've been on this afternoon, I've seen it. As you say, it's there, but it only delineates since your last login. I'm not sure if this adds any value for anyone. I don't feel that it does for me.
