In McRabbet's post on posting pics on the FAQs, he states "In most cases, you will see a small green icon next to the Linked Thumbnail box:". This icon is to be used to post a larger pic than the thumbnails. I am only able to post thumbnails because this green icon is nowhere to be found. I guess I am one of the ones that do not fall in the "in most cases" category. Can anyone enlighten me on this? :help::help::help:

The green box below the image address gives the choice of "Medium" if your picture is smaller than "medium" then you don' get that choice.

I use the regular address then edit out the url part and the thumnail/ part.

So I end up with something like:

http://www.ncwoodworker.net/pp/data/655/IMG_2896.JPG

and it looks like this:

[img]http://www.ncwoodworker.net/pp/data/655/IMG_2896.JPG

Well, looks like they changed the code again????? it used to work... maybe?

showphoto.php

YEP, it's been changed, I can't help you. I'll just go back to Photobucket if this is the way it will be.

Mike, your post helped solve my problem. I had been uploading a pic that was 480 x 64(or something about that size). I found that if I uploaded the pic in a larger format then I got the green icon. Thanks.

The easiest way I have found to post pics is to open the site in another window. Minimize the current window and open it again. Once you have the site open in two windows you can toggle between the the two. Open your photo album in one window, and click on the pic that you want to post. Right click on that picture and select Properties. Copy the URL of the picture (leaving out the http:/ / Toggle back to the post you are working on and paste the URL into the text box opened when you click on the Insert Image icon.
Forget the thumbnails and linked pics.
If folks aren't on a high speed ISP, they need to get there.
MTCW,
Dave:)

Mike something has changed, and I don't like the result either, though for different reasons. I'll be looking into it shortly and see what's going on.
