I like the FWW version, similar to Paul Sellers version IIRC??? (couldn't find it in a quick search...)
I am thinking of making boxes so 3/8" is a likely thickness, then a top or bottom, might be 1/4" and since 1/4" works, would think 1/8" is not out of the range of possibilities - so, I am (at least mentally)back at an adjustable version...
