Outdoor Swing Frame.....

For those who might wonder, does he ever make anything?

I was asked to build a frame for my parents newly aquired porch swing.

The best part? The through holes for the bolts. They lined up. I just love a Shopsmith in horizontal boring mode!

This was also my first time using polyurethane construction adhesive, I gotta say, WOW. At least from a clean up perspective. Time will tell on the holding power....

You remember that country song that came out around 1980?


Swangin', they played it over and over till everybody got sick of it. Well, a couple friends of mine went camping one weekend and after they got there it came up a storm so bad they had to get in the Suburban and wait it out. The radio would play only one station and after about the tenth time they played that song he took out a .22 pistol and fired it right into the radio.

Funny what a song will do to you. You know the CIA uses music in psychological warfare. :elvis:

Nicely done Jim :eusa_clap The shopsmith may be a great machine but it requires a user with some talent also. :wsmile:
