I bought the Porter Cable dovetail jig that srhardwoods had for sale (thanks again for the good deal). After unboxing it and playing with it for a few minutes, I decided that I need a new router. (there's always a reason for a new tool, right?). I took a trip to Woodcraft today and picked up this Triton 1 1/3 hp for $100.

Not sure if anyone really sells it for the list price of $179, but it got pretty good reviews.

It's not as hefty as some, but should serve my purposes nicely....and I can always find an excuse for a bigger one if the need arises.

From what I have read it is as good or better then competing routers. So 100$ sounds like a screaming deal to me.

glad it arrived and you're happy. always a good thing when needing to add another tool. I think a 100 bucks for a plunge is great. I doubt you will have any issues using that for doves.
