Tackled one the projects I have been putting off: running the dust collection lines. I had to get creative to get the tubes to run at the right height. I ended up cutting the legs of the cyclone base 3" shorter. I am sure this would have gone faster if I had a helper.

I still have a little more work to do at the far end. I have decided to move the drill press out the router table in it's place. In this way I can run a Y in the line with two blast gates: one for the router table and one for the belt/disc sander.

Latest update:

Dust collection is done! Except for one blast gate and some flrx hose I had enough pipe and parts for the entire shop! BTW I bought wyear ago from KB Duct in Greensboro.

There is a dedicated line to the bandsaw, a line that goes to either the table saw or jointer/planer, a ranch to the lathe, a branch to the belt/disc sander and a final branch to the router table.

All I have to do is sort my parts and install my new toggle switch on the lathe when it arrives. Can not wait to start all my projects.

Looking great, lots of wood for projects and a nice layout. The Sortainer's are fantastic keeping small part in there place.

It is odd have space around the tools. Once the switch for the lathe arrives I am ready to make stuff.

I am going to start planing and jointing some of the wood as preparation for Adirondack chairs.
