I just picked up a Jet JJ-6CSDX jointer and a Dewalt DW735 planer. I have the jointer wheeling around on an HTC universal mobile base (which took as long to assemble as the jointer itself), and the planer wheeling around on a Dewalt stand (which took MUCH longer to assemble than the planer itself).

I guess I should have planned further ahead. I'm ready to turn to my first project -- a couple of nightstands for my son's room -- but I'm short on wood. I have some walnut and cherry sitting around, but maple would be a better fit with his existing furniture.

Does anybody have any maple shorts they're interested in selling? I could use some 4/4 and 8/4. Some other light color, furniture grade species would probably also work.

thanks!
Matt
