New pickemup truck

Happy boy got a new (to me) pickup truck this afternoon. 1986 Nissan V6 Longbed. Way more hauling capacity than our Corolla! Lol

He's in the backyard walking his perimeter checks, lol. He'll go for his first truck ride tomorrow.

How many miles? My 84 Nissian went over 540K miles before it finally croaked. Over half those miles was with a trailer in tow.

On that note, my 2002 Tacoma with 320k miles just completed major surgery. The head gasket blew due to a leaky valve. The shop replaced all of the valves and head gasket. I never realized how much power it had lost as the valves faded slowly.
After this level of repair, how long can I expect the engine to last?

I sometimes wish I hadn’t sold my ‘95 S10 in favor of a new Ridgeline. Bed shrunk and had to worry about every little scape and door ding every time I go out!!!! A truck needs to be used a truck, but can’t forgive myself for damage to a newer vehicle.
