I LOVE Walnut Cove. I grew up in a small town in TX and it reminds me so much of it. Usually go through there when I'm heading to Hanging Rock.

Welcome! I'm in GSO and new to woodworking as well. If there's anything in particular you're looking to do please share it. Alot of the more experienced woodworkers are willing to host classes if there's enough interest in a topic, for example scroll sawing. If you're charming enough they might even meet with you one on one

Also they do something at Klingspor's every month in Winston. I'm kind of a recluse so I haven't gone but I think they rotate topics for each meeting? I think, not 100% sure.
