New bass

Been a while since I've posted any builds. Haven't had time to build anything. Whipped this one together the past few weeks.
5 string fretted bass. Sapele back and neck. Spalted maple top. Some kind of ebony fretboard that I found in the scrap bin at klingspor.

Yep... When I grow up I want to be able to "slapa da bass" like you.

BTW I dig your shop - I could be comfortable on a shop like yours. Your shop screams creativity to me and tells me that's a working mans shop. I've been in some wood shops and I look around and say to myself does anyone really work in here? That question would not come to my mind in yours, the answer is obvious

Maybe the Fountain of Youth isn't a fountain at all. Maybe it's a way of looking at things. A way of thinking.
