I want 2 flip stops on my Kreg table top router table. Kreg wants $40 each. The track on top of Kreg fence is not standard.

I bought a second flip stop for my Woodcraft DP fence and it was $35 IIRC, so the Kreg price is comparable.

Please elaborate on what does not fit so we can maybe help.

If you can measure out the profile, should be easy to built.
Also see this for a Kreg. $30. Still a lot but getting more reasonable.

Mark Sommerfeld (R.I.P.) in his video on using his beaded face frame cutter made his own stops out of a block of wood and using a T-nut/star knob for tightening to the fence. He screwed a small nut and bolt into the side of the block of wood to serve as a micro adjust. He went to this method to reduce the chipping he was getting with flip stops as they moved a bit during use (your experience may vary of course). You can take a look at his set up at approx. the 14:10 timeline in his "Beaded Face Frame" video on You Tube.

The cheap ones I get have a curved bottom so the center in about any track. Amazon has many different ones. Be creative if you are like me and basically cheap. :)

I bought these from Rockler for around $25 each shipped. Not cheap but I'm impressed with solid build and ease of use.

They replace these, which are unstable and impossible to accurately set:

i've never thought too highly of the kreg stops. The play in them was higher than I preferred.

I agree, the Kreg flip stop has more play than I like. The Rockler stop @Cuprousworks posted previously looks like it might be better. After looking at various stops I decided to just make my own. The first one I did was a flip stop. It has less play than the Kreg, but still has some. Ultimately, if I need a zero play stop, I use the one that is more like the KM stop. No flip, but also no play and with the micro adjust you can really fine tune cuts when you need precision (like when cutting tenons).

I found no need for micro adjust. Maybe because I an accustomed to hammer adjusting planes. Do look at the cheap flips ans see where the flex is. Some may be just a matter of how tight the bolt is. Maybe with really heavy timbers being slammed into a stop would the flex be an issue. Slop yes, but that does not seem to be an issue with any of mine.
