Wall art. Made for my daughters Florida home. All hand-cut veneers, glued down to a sheet of 3/4 birch plywood. Most natural woods, a few dyed. Walnut, sapele, cherry, satinwood, maple, holly, and padauk are the natural woods. Also used gray, black dyed, and bleached veneer. , with a natural red-oak frame. This is a large piece (84 X 30) made especially for the large open wall.

I thought my project was neat. Then I saw the other entries. Oh well, here goes.

il_570xN_100864022.jpg Yes I know it's a menorah, but I gave it to my daughter for Christmas. I think it qualifies.

I made 2 of these several years ago for my daughters. This one is Walnut & Curly Maple. The other one was Cherry & Curly Maple.3CF9F147-EA0B-4E27-8D8A-1B49C774717A.jpeg

I made several things this year, cheaper than buying them and they mean more. I made a pen for my grandfather, a set of Disney World ornaments, a black walnut nativity scene, a wooden Wonder Woman sword for my sister who is a fan of the movie, and the paddle from Moana.
