Thought I would post some pictures of the lathe dust hood I am working on the arm is a flat monitor arm. I got the idea on YouTube

Does the mounting arm prevent the hood from tilting forward?

No, there is a horizontal pivot rod at the connection point so it tilts. I can take a picture tonight if you want.
