I have a mini cross cutting jig. It's about 6" deep, single runner, single fence. Because I only use it in left miter, I first cut it to length on one end, then reversed in miter and trimmed other end. This way, I can have fence either at back or front. Recently made a large wooden Christmas star (five points.) Built a sliding jig to cut the 72 degree angle on one end of pieces. Used miter saw to cut the 18 degree angle on the other
