Market price fr air dred walnut?

A friend of mine has about 1,200 BF of air dried walnut. Approx 4/4 and lengths up to 12 ft.

He's not sure how to price it.

What's the market price for walnut these days?

Wall lumber is asking $5.50 b/f for 4/4. $7.00 b/f for >10" wide

It really depends a lot on condition of the lumber and how long it has been air dried, etc.
Is he just trying to get rid of it, or is he trying to make a few dollars?

If he wants it gone, asking $2-3 b/f would probably move it out pretty fast, if it is good quality.

I would bet the Wall Lumber walnut is kiln dried. Be sure you are comparing apples to apples.

Looks like Jack (Saw4you) has air dried, rough cut walnut for $1.75 b/f.
