Anyone have an electric hand planer they don’t need anymore, or is close to Havelock and would let me rent theirs for a day? I need to flatten the crowns on some floor joists for a small home addition project.
If for light-duty and infrequent use, I have a barely-used B&D with a bunch of new blades for $30. Chapel Hill area (but out of town until Sunday)

And replacement blades are readily available. It does tend to plug up the port if you don't use a vac, but otherwise, the WEN is a great occasional tool where it is too much effort to grab my scrub.
