Started this clock around Christmas time, decided to play with the angle on the saw to see what kind of effect I could get with the base of the clock (aka - the water). I liked how it looked but had to take a break from it to get through year end accounting processes and tax season at the office.
Picked back up about 4 weeks ago, got it assembled 2 weeks ago, and added a coat of poly almost every day over the past two weeks. Decided to just bite the bullet and ad the felt and the quartz movement and call it finished. #5 blades - Flying Dutchman. A little blue dye to get the water effect on the base.
