Lamello Joiner

I do a lot of frameless cabinets and I do mitered returns on all my end panels. I have always done miter fold with stranded packing tape but I've been seeing these Lamello Tenso biscuits. A bit pricey but look like they would be fast. Does anyone have any experience with these and do you know if a different brand of joiner would work with them?
