Laguna shop vac dust collector

I know there are tons of ways to build your own, but for $100 this seems like a pretty good deal.

I am not running out to buy it but will consider it at this price (until the end of Sept)

Bought one yesterday to hopefully replace my 5 gal Oneida cyclone that was overwhelmed by my planer and jointer almost instantly. It won't be as good as a full size dust collection system but it is 3 times the capacity of what I have been using and cost a lot less than a full size system. It's quite heavy gauge steel on the base so should be sturdy.

I've got some jointing and planing to do tomorrow so I'll have a better idea if it works then.

Are they in stock at the local woodcraft? Or did you order online?

Please post a short review once you have tried it out. I also have the dust deputy and it is great for sanding but I have the same trouble with jointer/planer. I am changing the bucket often.

They had 3-4 in stock in Raleigh yesterday (8/29). That's where I bought mine.
