Does anyone here know what the difference is between a plate type
jointer and biscuit jointer? Looks basically the same to me....I think they
do the same thing, cut slots for a wooden biscuit or disc to be inserted
and glued to join panels to make them wider.
If one is better than the other, which is best to use and why?
Any advantages to one or the other?
I've been thinking about one, and wanted some input before deciding
on another tool purchase. Any & all advice is appreciated.
TIA eezlock

different name for the same machine. some models will look different than others, but they do the same job, there is even a router bit designed for the same work, too.
