Hi! I luckily stumbled upon this forum tonight while looking for apps that allow you to simply draw plans for woodworking projects. Saw the URL and said, "Man! I need to join this forum!"

A little background on my woodworking experience and history...

Fell in love with woodworking by watching my grandfathers. One was a Norwegian troll carver of all things, Anton Sveen, whose pieces are now highly collectible. My other grandfather was just passionate about building beautiful items from wood and first exposed me to one of the coolest things I ever saw: a wood lathe.

The vast majority of my training comes from my highschool shop teacher, golf coach, mentor and friend, Dess Oliver from Rabun Gap, Ga. If you knew him, you know...If you didn't, you missed out. That being said, I'm still truely a novice woodworker, looking to advanced my skill level everyday.
