I started with the same saw about 30 years ago.My grandfather gave it to me.There was nothing in the world like cutting a 3/4" sheet of plywood on it and keeping the saw upright at the same time. That is an oldie but goodie.

I believe that is a late 60's/ early 70's Craftsman 100, (King Seeley/ Emerson made), and is highly regarded among the OWWM crowd.

The base was optional, and was somewhat universal. The base and pedestal were the same, but the mouting plate was customized for the TS, BS, grinder, jointer, etc. Bolted to the floor, (I dont know who would actually do that), I'm sure it was quite stable. On casters......I wouldn't do it. It looks cool though.

I've had two Craftsman tools with those pedestal bases, a grinder and a combo sander. I don't even find it stable enough for the grinder. There is probably a reason the pedestal base table saw didn't catch on.
That seller also has a very small craftsman/atlas metal lathe for sale, but at 500 with no tooling it was too rich for my blood.
