Improved Saker honing guide

I have been seeing Facebook ads for an improved Saker honing guide and ordered one. It arrived today in black (red was the other option).

I have been happy with the red one and rarely use my Veritas any more because there is no slippage concern. The improvements are a top clamp and a detachable setting gauge. They also fixed the “lefty-tighty” problem in the original.

Here‘s checking the accuracy of the jig’s setting gauge using an angle cube with my wide paring chisel:

Based on my experience with the red one, I expect a positive experience. With tax and shipping, it was $38.98.

I like the double clamp. Looks like on Amazon "Eewudwok" in red or black. Does not saw maximum width. Can it do a 5 1/2 or #7 iron?
I do like the eccentric on my Veritas for the micro bevel and the cambered wheel works about right on my scrub plane.
