I have been "away" for neary 3 years due to family business, illness, etc. (everything is now OK, thanks for asking).

As an opening to my return, I present a Scandinavian style bench, stool, which is a recreation of one I made about 40 years ago in 7th grade. I presented that bench to my Dad for Christmas. The bench was lost a couple of years ago when his house burned down in a brush fire in NM.
Having found some nice pine a neighbor was kind enough to throw out, I thought I would replace the bench.
He received the bench for his 88th birthday.
The bench is unfinished in tribute to the fact that the nicely finished bench I presented him from 7th grade was soon spray-painted by him. I told him this time he can finish it any way he wants.
