How to avoid downloading off-topic threads

The original thread that asked this question is closed. Here is my suggestion, if anyone wants to "block" certain forums. RIGHT-click on this link:
Select "add to favorites" or "bookmark this link" from the menu that pops up. That will add a new bookmark for North Carolina Woodworker in your browser, and when you click on that bookmark you'll see all the new posts EXCEPT those in the "off-topic" forum. :icon_thum

Nice. And for those that have a different forum to exclude the number can be changed? Can multiple forums be added with &Exclude=new number?

Yes. Take this example:

That one will also exclude the "Found for sale/Hot deals" threads... maybe that will help someone resist those temptations!

http://www.ncwoodworker.net/forums/external.php?do=getnew&exclude=105 seems to work for the RSS feed. Course, I don't know if it is doing anything with the variables.
