How to accept cookies

I just tried to reply in a thread but a pop-up said I must allow cookies to post. I found nothing under my account as to how. I use Safari so went under preferences there but it just listed all my cookies. How to I allow cookies from NCWW? Thanks from an old computer novice.

Weird that it let me post here but not reply to the thread about The Woodspot that someone was considering opening in Charlotte.
