Cutting wood just to cut wood.
I am completely enjoying a proper setup and a new blade from the guys at BuyFromAWoodworker.com.

I got a new Rikon 14" Bandsaw last month, and this week I put on a new 3/8" x .032 x 3TPI X-Tra Duty Blade. After a careful setup, I slapped a 6" hunk of Purple Heart on the table and started slicing off 5/32" pieces just to gauge consistency.
Perfect slices, one after the other. Now I have to make something that needs some thin pieces of Purple Heart in it...

I've bought several band saw blades from Hal (Buy from a woodworker.com) but that one's my favorite!!
The Tenyru Gold Medal 10" table saw blade he sells is pretty decent too !:eusa_clap
