The best entry in the AAW goblet contest made the picture of the day at the AAW site. It is about time they came to their senses and put a fine piece of work on the cover!:icon_thum :eusa_clap Congratulations!!!!!

His long stem goblet is a very beautiful piece of work. Its amazing how he managed to make the stem so long and thin. I think if I ever tried that the stem would snap before I was half way finished with it. Nice work.:icon_thum

thanks everybody, i'm still not turning much but i'm trying to make it count when i do. and as a matter of fact, i did break the stem on this one, but i was able to make a new one, macassar ebony is terribly expensive so i made it out of three tiny scraps, turned tenons on the stem and drilled sockets in the bowl and base. thanks again for looking.
