I would suspect on a tree that size, a fair amount of the heart will be rotted out. Large trees reach a point where they in, Silvacultural terms, are dead or in sesinence as the rate of rot of the center of the tree equals the amount of new wood they put on the outside. That is probably why it is being offer for firewood and not lumber.
