The Woodworkers of North Carolina (WONC) have opened the Gallery to the public. WONC is a non-profit corporation that is dedicated for the benefit and development of all woodworkers of NC. The Gallery is located within Klingspor's Woodworking Shop in Raleigh at 3141 Capital Blvd. It features some outstanding work by some very talented artisans.
It took a lot of work to get the gallery open but there is still much work that needs to be done. We could sure use some help. We not only need more members to join the guild, but we need people with specialized skills such as advertising, marketing, fund raising, and website development. As most of you know, we lost our director, Rodger Barrow to cancer this summer and so now we need help in keeping the gallery staffed on weekends.
