I finally got my Harvey saw in along with the Spider mobile roller attachment and will start assembly tomorrow! Happy Day. The mobile base as all of Harvey equipment came extremely well packed and looks like it is for a space shuttle as far as the machining. But as with all Harvey products the instructions were lacking in this case there was no instructions not even a thank you for your purchase? Sooo-if you order one put your thinking cap on. It looks simple but has bit me 3 times figuring it out ( used to build drag boat race engines) I can now start assembling my cab saw. I am 74 but I am sooo just plain excited that my wife looked at me and asked "Tonight?" You have to understand I am coming from a 20 yr old Craftsman Contractor saw that I have built many things with over 20 years but this is special for me. The router table is something else I am looking forward to.
I have sooo many ideas and plans. Thank you everyone for your help along my journey.

Harvey's Customer Service is excellent, so don't hesitate to call them if need be. There's also a substantial amount of information on their website. Videos and written articles seem to be aimed at topics that have generated a lot of Customer Service calls.

Well I called them regarding the package marked Extension 365 and was told that the RT800 router table would replace it and it was not needed. Wrong!! The front and back rails will not bolt up until it is mounted. They need to be bolted up before you add the RT800 due to it's weight and hole sizing. So now I take it all back apart and start over. Instructions are next to worthless-Beware!

Getting close and it is finally looking good. Will post a pic tomorrow maybe. That RT800 router table is a real heavy sucker (maybe 120 lbs) to take it back off then remount it and level it--well made my eyes pop!

I hope you are as happy with yours as I am with mine. Do note, I do not know if your version has V-belts of a newer multi-rib belt. If V belts, they are crap, as not round and not the same length. D&D power can get you good belts in the right size. Of a multi-rib, you are golden. I made a small mod to the fence lever that solves it binding on the tab. Maybe tyhey fixed it. I have the older C-30.

I modify Powermatic ZCI's for a durable one, but of course make my own for ones that will get cut up.

The extra weight and stability makes you feel much more sure of your work.

I'll have to go check? I have not noticed any binding?
On another note what do you do with your saw guide and router fence when not using them?

Looks very nice. I'm considering a very similar setup.

I'm curious as to the mobile base. How well does it work? Easy to engage/dis-engage? How about maneuverability?

It's their new Spider base. Very well engineered and made. My 73 year old small wife with week wrist can push and maneuver it without issue.

I have hooks under the table for my fence and shelves under the right wing for my guides. My router table is actually behind the left side wing as my right side is against a wall. I am set up for smaller stock I can handle. Shelf hanging above for push blocks and other accessories on the wall.

I did a lot of little polishing and fitting on a few parts to make things nice and smooth. Every now and again the lever would catch as the flap was not seated. I installed a spring to fix it and polished the cam face to be smooth. I replaced the lever bolt with one with no threads under the lever. Rotating on threads seemed like a poor oversite. With the older fence, I also modified the graticule so it is closer to the scale. Again, they may have fixed that as it looks like they really advanced from the older OEM designs ( C30 is a Griz 690) and are using all their learning to really improve the products.

I raised the floor and run a 6 inch dust port. Stays almost clean. Mine does not have a blade shroud. Decent V belts and it has been wonderful. I put an electronic scale on the fence, but I just don't seem to use it. I guess I trust a ruler more.

Looks great!

I have that very same router table and fence. She's a beauty!
I've used it for jointing smaller board. Great option when you don't have a jointer.

You'll love it!

Well I finally got my dust control system working and it works perfect! I have never had dust control in all of my years so this makes things a pleasure instantly. I proceeded

to put all the dust control equipment and the new band saw on rollers today and as I was working with full 3/4 sheets of ply and ripping 8' 2x6's I learned some of my new saws personality and needs😁 It's simple BS I know bur mistakes can and will be overlooked. I also got some magnetic hooks today and affixed some of my necessary tools to my new T-Saw. Thanks for the reccomend and idea!!
