Good Morning ! I finally found this site.
I'm in the process of updatingand expanding a workshop in a multi use and multi purpose shop area ( also known as a garage).
I have all the basics covered and am in the process of updating a few of my pieces of equipment. I have recently replaced my 25 year old Craftsman saw with a Grizzly (if I only knew the difference having a real saw can make before...). I am also building a router/shaper table and thanks to this site found a great router lift at a better price on the woodpecker page.
My projects include furniture and small projects at this time.
I'm limited in the winter because the other occupant of the shop (wife's car) gets evicted. She's not too keen on scraping ice and cold leather in the mornings.

I look forward to learning and sharing on the site.

Thanks! Ron

PS. Forgot to give the history of the name.
I share my woodworking time with my love for fishing.
When I can't fish, I use the tools. Either is therapy for me!

Welcome to the site, Ron. Happy to hear that there is yet another happy Grizzly Saw owner joining our fold. I love my G1023SLX that I bought at their showroom in Muncy, PA in 2004. They make excellent tools. Looking forward to seeing some pictures of your shop and projects -- be sure to click on Other Links on the main menu bar and request a photo gallery. You'll learn very quickly here that "no pics, it didn't happen". Enjoy the site -- we have fun, share loads of information and get together for special events (if you have time, join a group at the Charlotte Woodworking Show on Saturday, Feb 17th at 1:30 PM at the concession stand). It is a good show and you'll have a chance to meet several fellow woodworkers.

Welcome to the group. I'm a big fan of both of your interests. Simple solution to the cold weather problem, put a remote starter in her car.

Thanks for all the welcomes and replies.
I had a few .jpg pics from the workshop that I uploaded. I guess I'll have
to get more pictures of past projects and populate the Photo Gallery.
I look forward to learning at the site and hopefully sharing some too.....

Welcome to the site. I tend to spend a fair amount of time at the Outer Banks surf fishing for Mackrel. I love those things. Can't wait to go check out your pictures.
