Needed - Looking for good plans to build an older style Grandfather clock. Family is from the Black Forest region out of Germany. THanks,

Lonnie Bird had a plan published in FWW some years back for Penn. flat top clock. It's a good plan for the intermediate woodworker. You may be able to fine it in an old copy or online. Probably not the style your interested in though.

SAPFM has a federal period clock in their down loadable plans. Its not a plan for the beginner and you have to be a SAPFM member to access it.

I built one of Norm's grandfather clock plans. I like straight lines and this plan suited me. It has a 3 degree angle and a nice look to it.
