from the local CL.

It was not mentioned in the ad, but based on the picture, I thought it would
be a small one (<= #3), so I contacted the seller, and grabbed the whole
bunch.

Are you building a collection, or is this a user?

I've often wondered if a #2 would be worth having. I have bought all of my planes with the intention of using them. Not sure how much use I would get out of a #2.

Seems to me a good block plane would be of more use. My big hands don't fit a #2 very well, but I can see where it would be very useful to a smaller person.

My #3 comes in handy for finishing dovetails on small boxes.

The #2 is a nice to have.

Don't think that I'll put it to use, as I could have used the LV LABP + handle
which would be handier, and with better blade.
