So was out last week a bit with wife looking for a piece of upholstered furniture. Ran across a store called Nowells on E.Chatham St near 40 in Cary. The store has an interesting mix of contemporary, Scandanavian, and Asian pieces. There was some real nice examples of good woodworking especially some pieces from a small shop somewhere up in the NE. I easily killed an hour+ stroking some of the work, looking at some funky pieces, and getting some ideas. If you're nearby you should stop in.
I was in High point for a day and Hwy 70 furniture row on another and by far this store was the most interesting woodworking wise.
