A co-worker gave me some walnut lumber. After going through the stack there are a dozen boards that I won't use, mostly because there is not enough dark or they are too narrow. For anyone doing smaller projects who doesn't mind sap wood and/or selecting the darker sections these would work.
See photo below. The boards are 4"-6" wide and anywhere from 5' - 7' in length. I was told these were cut in upstate NY and have been air drying for around 10 years. They seem dry enough to work as is, but I haven't checked with a meter.
I'm between Cary and Holly Springs, just south of Ten-Ten Rd. PM if interested.
