Formatting a classified ad

John here in Jacksonville. I just posted a good number of wooden hand planes for sale the other day. I noted on other classified ads those sellers have links for the buyer to "Make Offer', "Contact Seller", and a "Buy It" button...none of which show on my ads. I have reviewed all the options I have when I hang an ad and none of those options are available to me. What am I doing wrong?

I believe it is because they are your ads. When I view them, I see all of the expected links for contact/offer/buy button/etc...

Someone may correct me if I'm wrong though.

Carl has it right (thank you Carl).

A member is not permitted to purchase their own sale item, hence no "Buy It" or "Make an Offer" button will be presented when viewing your own ads. Similarly, if you wish to contact yourself then you can send yourself a PM, but that wouldn't make much sense either, so there will be no "Contact Seller" link, either, when viewing your own ads.

It's just the system behaving as one would reasonably expect when a seller or buyer is viewing their own Ad versus another member's Ad.
