Flying woodcock project

Here is the woodcock with some paint on it still working on it ,
I use acrylic paint thin washes to build up color .
you can begin to see the wood #### take on life.

Wow! What great talent and skills you have! You turned the block of wood into life. The bird looks very realistic, a lot of great and incredible details and techniques were seen as showed on the great step by step photos. Impressive and excellent work!

Almost finished the painting of the woodcock today.I also formed the flesh over the feet wire frame.Here are some pictures to view ill finish feet tomorrow and begin a base for the mounting of the woodcock display.
