Wife wanted what she described as a "fan thing-y" to hold up her climbing roses. So with her describing what the should look like, I came up with a pair of these. the vertical boards are black locust 7/8" x 1 5/8" x 7' 6" the radius wood is is 3/8 x 5/8 yellow poplar. Poplar bends real easy when it's that thin... I beat everything together with nails and some screws in the bottom piece which is 7/8 x 2 1/2" eastern red cedar. Anyways I hacked out both and got them together in a little under an hour, the wife is happy, I guess that's what counts most...
