Finally, A table for my wife

Shortly after I started my woodowrking journey back in 2015 my wife asked for a table, but was undecided for a while on what she wanted. So I made several for friends and family in the meantime. This summer when I had to buy some lumber for a table for my neice I went ahead and got enough to make ours. Thanks to Scott Smith and his Quartersawn Oak!! I promised to have it ready for our Thanksgiving dinner. Ours is set for Saturday and I JUST put the final touches on it tonight, just in time. I'll bring it in tomorrow morning.

I got the legs off FB Marketplace for $10 each.

Beautiful - if you get a minute- would you show how the leaves work and how the top is attached...
It is a version of this. Dutch table with extensions.

I really like this design. It is great for those of us with small spaces for an everyday table, but that have the occasional need for a big 7 footer.

Very nice. I think your color combo turned out fantastic.
Thanks for sharing the video - hadn't seen that design before.
