I have a serious quantity of Walnut and Gum in my lower field as the result of a deal I made with the neighbor that hates Walnut trees to allow her contractor to drop the tree in my 'yard' if I could have the wood save a small quantity of wood cut to 15" lengths for her new wood burning device. After the negotiation, she gave away a log over 24" by twelve feet, to the guy that charged her (a lot) to drop the tree on my property.
So, as I'm sorting branches and logs out of THE PILE O TREES and brush and vines and such I thought of the member that sought 3-inch cubes of Walnut a while back and decided to post this just in case a member might have a use for a crotch or whatever before this little beaver turned it all into the firewood to heat him up next Winter.
