Do parts for Jet bandsaws fit Delta bandsaws?

A friend has a Delta bandsaw model 28-270 with broken table trunnions. E Replacement parts shows, " back order no ETA" for the trunnions and trunnion assembly.

My gut feeling is, these parts will never be in stock.

Has anyone ordered parts from Jet or Grizzly to repair a Delta?

Or have found a different supplier for delta parts ( aside from E bay)?

I had the same problem several years ago. Talking with the rep, there was a replacement trunion for another delta saw that was heavier duty but turned out to be a direct fit and has been working well since. I just had to speak with a rep. to find them, because the online service did not convert them over. You might try that and I'll try to hunt down the manual and see if I did write it in there and give the part # so you might find them. good luck with you hunt.

Grizzly fit an old Delta I used to have.

Renovo Parts has plenty.
The front and rear trunnion stock numbers differ only because the front trunnion has an attached scale otherwise it is the same.

Iturra design makes an updated replacement of the trunion. He does not have a website and you have to order a catalog.

You can call and order without the catalog but the catalog is well worth having. It is not only a parts catalog but has a wealth of information.
