I certainly enjoy my DW735.
I mounted mine on the Delta Universal Planer/Miter Saw Mobile Base (has rollers, so you don't need the extension tables). Considerably more mobile than the DeWalt stand, and when space is at a premium I can lower the stand, then stand it up vertically -- takes up a lot less floor space vertically.
I also added the Wixey digital thickness gauge to mine shortly after purchasing the planer. It takes a bit of work to permanently attach the digital guage (i suggest rivets over bolts), but well worth the effort. I can precisely duplicate the thickness of a sample piece of wood to the nearest 0.005"
