Delta 22-580 planer help

Good morning, my planer is not turning the feed rollers. The belt that drives the whole tool is fine and it turns the gears attached to roller sprockets but does not turn them. Was wondering is there a spline or set screw that attaches from the gears to the sprocket?
!!!PROBLEM WAS A PIECE OF WOOD FOR INTO THE SPEED SELECTOR SWITCH. !!!!

Probably a broken Woodriff key on shaft, or a loose set screw.

It looks like that gearbox is sold as a unit. That's probably because the average 12" suitcase planer user may not have the mechanical experience to take it apart. I think that's exactly what is going to have to happen before a diagnosis is found. It's probably something simple like Bruce said but until that box comes off and is examined, you'll never know.
