Everyone:

I have been in contact with each of you separately. Everyone has agreed to accept DaveO's resignation and to offer the rest of Dave's term to Scott. Scott has accepted. The titles and permission have been changed and the admins and mods have been informed. I have drafted an announcement and sent it to Dave for his review. Upon his approval I will post it to the general membership.

To the extent necessary please help Scott get up to speed. Welcome Scott!

Welcome to the Board, Scott. I'll coordinate with you on the next big event coming in the fall -- the Klingspor Extravaganza will be held October 30-31 in Hickory and Coleman Fourshee has already committed the same booth space for us. Our key goals ove rthe next month or so will be planning our demonstrations. I am committing now to be there both days unless some unknown emergency arises. And of course, it looks like we'll be involved with the Woodworks Show at the Asheville Civic Center on October 2-4 as well.

Count on me for strong support at both of these...
